The Great Commission delivered by Christ to his disciples is carried out by the Lord's churches today in many ways and in many places. At Austin Chapel MBC, we directly support three missionaries and are the co-sending church for one.
Foreign Missions
Gheorghe & Mia Cormos
- NW Romania Missions -
After moving across the world to Loveland, Colorado, Gheorghe felt called by God to return to Romania, to his home village, and set about spreading the gospel of Christ to his fellow Romanians.
Austin Chapel has been the co-sending church, along with Meadow View MBC in Malvern, Arkansas, for Bro. Gheorghe and Mia since 2016. In 2022, we saw the completion of a new church facility near Sacalasău, Romania.
Wayne & Novis Stringer
- Philippine Mission Development -
PMD was organized with the desire to provide the mission work being done in the Philippine Islands with the means to purchase land and build churches for the congregations there.
Bro. Wayne, seen here with his wife, Novis, serves as the Director of Promotions for PMD in the United States.

Interstate Missions
Jason & Cindy Hebert
- Reach Acadiana Missions -
Bro. Jason and his wife Cindy began RAM in 2016 after being led by God to the mission field. Being from Louisiana, Jason saw a need to reach the southern part of the state, where there are no ABA churches, and where 2/3 of the population resides.
Jason & Cindy have two sons: Parker, who has served as the mission's worship leader, and Peyton, who has surrendered to preach.

ABA Missions
